CMC can be used inceramic body, glazing pulp, and decoration. Used in ceramic body, it is a goodstrengthening agent, which can strengthen the mouldability of mud and sandmaterials, help the shaping of the base and increase the folding strength ofthe green body. Used in glazing pulp and decoration, it is a binder that playsa role of suspending, uncoagulating, and keeping water.

Applications in Ceramic Body

1. Small usage, improve the mouldability of mud and sand materialand the folding strength of the green body obviously.

2. Good suspending and spreading property can avoid thecoagulation of raw materials.

3. Strong resistance to mechanical wear, during ball-milling ormechanical stirring, few molecular chains will be broken.

Applications in Glazing Pulp

1. Excellent in spreading and colloid protecting, it can make theglazing pulp in a stable dispersed status.

2. Enhance the surface tension of the glaze materials, preventwater spreading into the base, increase the smoothness of the glaze.

3. It can adjust the flowing property of the glazing pulp just insmall usage, easy for glazing.

4. Improve the binding ability of the base, increase the intensityof the glaze surface significantly and prevent glaze dropping off.

5. The smoothness of the glaze surface is fine, and the glazingpulp is stable.

Applications in decoration

1. Good resistance to acid and alkali, smooth in filtration, lowerthe filter washing frequency and reduce the color difference.

2. The flowing property is good, easy and smooth in printing, noinsoluble substance.
